Here's another example of the Summer Night Out necklace. I used size 8.0 seeds and size 5.0 white-lined black triangle beads.
These two necklaces were made by Kimberly. She said she had so much fun making the first one that she decided to make another one with a different twist.
They both turned out great, and I love the variations she did on the second one. Thanks Kimberly!
This wonderful variation was sent to me by Pat, who used pretty 4mm pinch beads and a lobster clasp closure. It looks great Pat! Thanks for sending it! I love seeing the variations people come up with!
This lovely smiling lady is Mary, wearing the beautiful necklace she made. She found the orange-lined peridot triangle beads on a trip to Hilton Head and just had to have them! Mary is the one who I talked about in the tutorial. She wrote to me asking for ideas on how to use her gorgeous new beads. :) The necklace turned out great, and it goes with her pretty sweater so well!
Thanks Mary! It gave me the little push I needed to get this long overdue tutorial done. :)
When Michelle sent this picture to me, my first reaction was, "Mmmmm........ purple". Fabulous! (Can you tell I like purple?) It looks wonderful Michelle, thanks so much for sending it!
You can see Michelle's other beadiful creations at her ebay store.
Meenie went for a classy look and used white pearls and Toho size 11.0 seeds. Beautiful! You can see a close-up of this necklace and Meenie's other work at her website. Thanks Meenie!
Here's another purple beauty! This one was made by Kitty, and she used purple lined size 11.0 seeds and irridescent purple 8.0 hex beads. She made it short enough to wear the butterfly right at the base of her throat, and it looks fabulous!
