This is the first one I did. I used both size 11.0 and 15.0 beads in a bronze color, and made a peyote bail. I strung it on a simple 2 strand necklace, and added a couple of beaded beads just for fun. ;)
I made this one with size 11.0 nickel plated seeds, and a real pretty metallic Raspberry color for the size 15.0 seeds.  The cab is actually a real light pink, but the color got funky when I scanned it.  ;)  I don't know yet what kind of necklace I'll make for it.

I haven't decided what I'll do with this blue one yet. I'm thinking about maybe using it as the centerpiece on a netted bracelet. I'll post the pic here when I get it done.
Sometimes not having the exact supplies listed in a tutorial can be a good thing! This ultra fabulous piece is a good example of why. It was done by Michelle of Creative Sense, and she wrote, "It took me awhile to do.. I kept taking it apart. The netted cab I used 11/0 seeds and a high domed cab so I had to change the pattern a bit. At every bead junction I added a 3 bead picot and dded 1 more decrease rows. I also added a peyote band so I could slide it on the russian rope or any other rope."
It was certainly worth all the effort and perserverance!  It's gorgeous!  I love the picots she used!  It gives it a whole new look.
For the rope, she used size 8.0 and 11.0 beads in metallic bronze and eggshell. She used a magnetic clasp. For a tutorial on the Russian spiral, click here.
Thanks Michelle!  You are truly an inspiration!
