The Morning Glory really grew well on the trellis that Kevin made, but I was wondering if it would ever bloom.

I talked to a neighbor, and she said hers has been in bloom since mid August!
I've been checking every morning, and finally today (Sept. 4th) there was a flower!

There are tons of buds, so I'm looking forward to the show to come.

It was well worth the wait.  :)
Isn't it gorgeous?
Other late blooming flowers........
The Autumn Joy Sedum is starting to get some color...
Here's another Autumn Joy Sedum on the other side of the garden. It has kind of a weird shaped, but I think it's cool looking.

The Zinnias and Marigolds keep blooming and blooming.......
The Cannas and Dahlias are still blooming, but the wind storms in the past couple of days have blown all my poor Dahlias to one side. I tried to (gently!) straighten one up, but they're so brittle that it just snapped right off. So now I'm afraid to do anything with the others.
Some Clematis on the lattice on the hill.

Not too bad for a first year plant!
The corner rock planter is still going strong. Those wave petunias keep on bloomin'
I don't know what kind of flower this is. It's got ferny type foliage, and the flowers look like daisies. Do you know what it is Mom?

Those are mini hollyhocks behind it.  Aren't they cute?
The ornamental Kale is starting to get some color!
These mums bloomed pretty early. None of the other mums look anywhere close to blooming yet.
