JoAnn's Wheel Variation I love beading! And one of the reasons I love it so much is because of all the nice beaders I have 'met' online since I started. It's so much fun sharing ideas with beaders from all over the world! Besides being creative and talented, beaders are also very generous. JoAnn is one of these generous people. She lives in England, and emailed me a picture of the bracelet she had made using Cecile's Wheel tutorial, but she had made some great variations on it. She drew these variations out in PowerPoint and was nice enough to allow me to post them here to share with everyone. Thanks JoAnn! UPDATE! JoAnn just sent me another variation that's really nice! If you'd like to see it, and get the directions, click here. |

This is the bracelet she made. I love the way she added on to it to give it a whole new look! I also like that she added snaps instead of a conventional clasp. And she shared her high tech secret with me.....she uses plain black snaps, and then paints them with fingernail polish to match the beads! | |||||||||||||

JoAnn teaches beading classes in her home, and came up with this different way to start the wheel. She said the ladies she teaches have found it easier to start if the knots have been tied. Whichever way you choose to do this pattern, the important thing to remember is to have fun, and don't be afraid to try something different! |
